C.V. Heljestrand is widely known for their surgical instruments, both in Sweden and internationally. 

In 1808, Olof Heljestrand established his business which grew rapidly. Already in 1822 large quantities of razors, scissors and surgical instruments were manufactured and the number of employees were 32. 

At the world exhibitions in Paris 1855, Stockholm 1866, Bogotá 1875, Philadelphia 1876, Chicago 1883, Paris 1900 and 1937, C.V. Heljestrands fine range of steel products was noticed. 

C.V. Heljestrand is still manufacturing surgical instruments with the highest precision, where quality and customization are te key words.
